Here We Go Again" The Liberal Media Establishment is desperate to Tar a Good, Principaled Man, Don't Let Them Get Away With it - American Thinker - Well, folks, how does it feel to be called stupid, crazy, extremist, racist, and terroristic for standing firm for values and principles that most Americans have held and continue to hold dear? Such are the rantings coming from liberal media and Washington elites about the Tea Party......This is why Republican gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli's rock-solid conservative platform is extremely courageous. Readers of my articles are well aware of how much I believe that character matters when electing leaders. Awarding great power to someone who lacks a conscience is insane. Had the liberal media paid more attention to Obama's character rather than insisting that his skin color exempts him from the standard vetting process, America would not be in a mess that threatens the vision of our founding fathers......Electing Ken Cuccinelli governor of Virginia will put another desperately needed fighter on the front lines to stop ObamaCare. Fighting ObamaCare from the beginning, Cuccinelli was the first attorney general in the nation to file a lawsuit to have ObamaCare ruled unconstitutional by the courts. Cuccinelli's stellar political record speaks for itself. Here are a few little-known facts which further illustrate the character of the man: Read more........

(2) Toward Single-Payer: We're Almost There - The Presidents 2003 Utopian Agenda of a Single-Payer System Cannot Happen as Long as Private Insurance Companies Exist  - American Thinker - Seventy-five years ago, it was lawyers, doctors, and shop owners; today, it's insurance companies. These free-enterprise for-profits are the main obstacle to instituting a single-payer health care system in the U.S. They must be removed from the equation if Obama is to realize his dream. While everyone focuses on the latest ObamaCare IT screw-up, the ongoing abolition of for-profit insurance companies continues. Consider this timeline. In June 2003, Obama made his future intentions clear........Fast-forward to October 2013. Due to this month's $600-million IT blunder, the same ensnared insurance companies set to add 30 million new individuals to their books are finding out the real cost, financial and human, of joining their fortunes to Obama's radical plan to transform one sixth of the economy. Insurance companies like Florida Blue, Kaiser Permanente, and Highmark Pittsburgh have already sent out hundreds of thousands of letters to consumers in recent weeks canceling their health care policies. The plans do not meet essential health benefits required by the health care law and are not eligible for the state- and federally run exchanges. According to policy experts, if members dropped from the rolls shop for coverage in off-exchange alternatives, they will not qualify for subsidies. If this is the case, the road to single-payer will be littered with canceled policies and desperate consumers looking for a solution.  Read more.......

(3) The Fall of Barack - Benghazi? The IRS? Fast and Furious? Those were all Nothing - It's Obamacare That Will Bury Obama - American Thinker - Barack Obama is on schedule to leave office, widely acknowledged as America's worst president. Somewhere, Jimmy Carter is smiling. Everything Barry has touched in four years and three quarters has turned to dog excrement. He has the reverse Midas touch, although there is always plenty of gold for friends, associates and cronies. Take ObamaCare, for instance -- the ACA is a metaphor for the entire Obama presidency. Despite polls showing that 85% of Americans were happy with their health insurance, Barry insisted that there was a healthcare "crisis." Then, never the hardest worker, he allowed Nancy Pelosi and her minions, along with Harry Reid and his minions, to write a 2,000-plus-page monstrosity of a bill, including every liberal fantasy wish from the last half-century. Afterward, the "I won" president, through bribes and legislative trickery, shoved the Affordable Care Act down the throat of America, on a strictly partisan vote and before anyone even knew what was in it. (4) Christianity Under Attack in America - Separation of Church and State, But Never 'Separation of Mosque and State.' - American Thinker - According to information released at a May 9, 2013 press conference by the families of Navy SEALs killed in an August 2011 helicopter shoot-down in Afghanistan, "military brass prohibited any mention of a Judeo-Christian G-d" and "invited a Muslim cleric to the funeral for the fallen Navy SEAL Team VI heroes who disparaged in Arabic the memory of these servicemen by damning them as infidels to Allah."......During the recent government shutdown, Catholic priests were warned that they could be arrested for celebrating Mass, even if performed on a voluntary basis. Under Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel's direction and determination was that priests do not "contribute to the morale" and "well-being" of military personnel." Thus, offering of the sacraments was prohibited and the Eucharist placed under lock and key. Curiously, no mention was made of curtailing religious freedom for Muslim service members or furloughing imams. Read more....
