THE HOUSE MAY BE VOTING ON THIS THURSDAY, PLEASE CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN AND TELL THEM NOT TO BE PART OF THIS DECEPTION - U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES CONTACT LIST....... U.S. SENATE CONTACT LIST....., In Virginia 5th District, Robert Hurt, 202-225-4711.

House GOP Leaders' Deceptive Strategy that Appears to Defund Obamacare, but doesn't - Eric Cantor is always looking for new and imaginative ways to screw conservatives. He has Pete Sessions (R-TX), as Rules Chairman, helping him with his latest creative way to screw conservatives. I’ve already well documented Pete Sessions’s increasingly bitter attitude toward Ted Cruz and staggering contempt of his own constituents who want to defund Obamacare. Cantor and Sessions’ latest idea tops even his most absurd shenanigans. The plan is to pass the real CR that fully funds Obamacare, then pass a fake bill that defunds Obamacare. The Senate will pass the CR, and throw the defunding bill in the garbage. But, Cantor and Session’s theory is that conservatives are so stupid that they will clap like trained seals at the fake bill, and meanwhile not notice that the House just fully funded Obamacare. Let me break down their plan for you. House leadership will pass a continuing resolution in the House. It will fund Obamacare. Cantor and Sessions will also make sure a separate resolution to defund Obamacare gets passed that would amend the CR to defund Obamacare if the Senate votes for it, which they of course will not. These two separate votes will be combined with great fan fare to make it look like House Republicans are voting for a CR that defunds Obamacare. But the Senate will pass the CR that funds Obamacare, sending it to the President, and ignore the defund resolution. Read more........

(2) BUSINESS OWNERS MAY FACE $100.00 PER DAY PENALTY THRU OVERLOOKED PROVISION UNDER OBAMACARE - Fox Business - Small business owners who thought they were off the hook for ObamaCare regulations until 2015 may be in for an expensive wake-up call next month. Beginning Oct. 1, any business with at least one employee and $500,000 in annual revenue must notify all employees by letter about the Affordable Care Act’s health-care exchanges, or face up to a $100-per-day fine. The requirement applies to any business regulated under the Fair Labor Standards Act, regardless of size. Going forward, letters are to be distributed to any new hires within 14 days of their starting date, according to the Department of Labor. Earlier this summer, the employer mandate, which states that every business with at least 50 or more full-time employees must offer workers acceptable coverage or face a $2,000 penalty per-worker, per-year, was pushed back until 2015. But the Oct. 1 employee-notification deadline stands. Keith McMurdy, partner at FOX Rothschild LLP, says the $100 per-day fine has been “unfortunately overlooked” by many small businesses, and the dollar amount on the penalty comes from the general per-day penalty under the ACA. (3) Obamacare Regulations are 8 Times Longer Than the Bible - CNS News - Since March 2010, when President Barack Obama signed the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and its companion Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (HCERA), the administration has published in the Federal Register 109 final regulations governing how Obamacare will be implemented. These regulations add up to 10,516 pages in the Federal Register—or more than eight times as many pages as there are in the Gutenberg Bible, which has 642 two-sided leaves or 1,286 pages. Using the regulations.gov website and the Federal Register itself, CNSNews.com found 109 distinct regulations for the implementation of PPACA and the health-care related provisions of HCERA that had been finalized by various federal agencies and published in the Federal Register as of Sept. 9, 2013.  (4)Warning: Obamacare May Be Hazardous to your Health  - Heritage Foundation -(8,228 VIEWS) Watch our new video to see what doctors have to say about Obamacare: We’ve talked a lot about Obamacare’s costs—how it will hurt the economy, kill jobs, and cost you and your family more when you pay for health care. But there’s an even more important cost: your health. Obamacare will affect the quality of care in this country. It will limit the choices we have in doctors, hospitals, and treatments. People are already learning that their trusted doctors aren’t going to be available to them in the new insurance plans Obamacare is forcing them into. And disrupting your relationship with your doctor is not how health care reform should be. The Heritage Foundation, our experts, and our 600,000+ members believe so strongly that Obamacare is bad for your health that we’re putting this message front and center in Times Square. Our new billboard in the heart of New York City will be installed this week to get people thinking and to raise awareness about the need to stop Obamacare. Why? Because we don’t want to see people lose their health coverage—and the doctors they trust.  Read more........

America, We Must Stop Obamacare Before It Becomes Hazardous to our Health - Fox - New York’s famous 42nd Street will offer natives and visitors a new sight later this week: a mammoth, six-story billboard with a striking message: “Warning—Obamacare may be hazardous to your health.” It’s part of The Heritage Foundation’s continuing public education campaign to inform the American people about the dangerous side-effects of this unfair, unaffordable and unworkable law, and how it can be stopped. How will ObamaCare—a 2,700-page law passed by a single vote over bipartisan opposition— harm Americans’ health? Well, here are five of its worst side effects. First, many Americans will lose their current health coverage. That’s what’s happening to Rod Coons and Florence Peace, a married couple in Indianapolis. Rod and Florence like their current plan.
