Lawless White House Has Made a Clear Attempt to Aid and Abet Voter Fraud Says GOP Rep. - The Blaze - A Republican Texas Congressman issued a blistering statement on Friday, accusing President Obama of intentionally working to encourage voter fraud. Congressman Steve Stockman made the comments following Attorney General Eric Holder’s announcement that he will take legal action to block a Texas law that requires voters to show a valid form of identification. “This is a clear attempt by a lawless White House to aid and abet voter fraud,” said Stockman, in a statement.“Whether it is blocking the prosecution of voter intimidation in Philadelphia, illegally running guns to Mexican drug lords or assisting voter fraud in Texas Barack Obama has decided the rule of law takes a back seat to ‘Rules for Radicals,’” he added. “I encourage the federal courts to do their constitutional duty and thwart this latest attempt to abuse presidential power to pervert free and clean elections,” Stockman continued. “The only people with an interest in preventing voter ID are people engaged in voter fraud.” Stockman previously made news in January when he threatened to impeach Obama if he circumvented Congress to enact strict gun control measures. (2) Democratic Party of Virginia Unleashes a FOIA Monster on Registrars - Bearing Drift - The Democratic party of Virginia is preparing the battle space, just in case the statewide races are close. How? By slamming voter registrars with information requests, in some cases for data that does not yet exist. The party’s reasoning is rather novel, too. Well, not really, It’s entirely political: In a statement, Democratic Party of Virginia spokesman Brian Coy questioned the objectivity of Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli II, who is the Republican candidate for governor. “This is an election where [Attorney General] Ken Cuccinelli is both a candidate for Governor and an official whose job it is to provide legal counsel to the office that oversees the election for Governor,” Coy stated in an email. “In light of that blatant conflict of interest, the DPVA submitted requests for public information that will help ensure that every legal vote is counted accurately.Specifically, the request listed 17 areas of documents or information being sought by the Democratic Party. This included information about those asking for absentee ballots, a list of all registered voters in the county, copies of all envelopes in which absentee ballots were cast, the names of anyone who submitted voter registration applications, the paper poll books for the county, names of anyone who cast provisional ballots, copies of the instructions from the State Board of Elections pertaining to the 2013 election, and copies of any FOIA requests from any gubernatorial campaign. (3) David Barton Explains How Common Core Poses Serious Problems for the Future of the Republic - The Blaze - Author and historian David Barton guest hosted the Glenn Beck Program on TheBlaze TV Friday, dedicating the hour to the controversial education guidelines known as “Common Core.” “You’ve heard about it, and over the coming months it’ll be in the news even more as new parts of it continue to unfold,” Barton began. “Common Core is something that is not going away, even though it sure needs to… Today we are going to cover some of the new problems that have emerged since we covered this topic three months ago.” The hour spanned issues from the lowering of academic standards to alarming data mining techniques. Common Core poses “serious problems for the future of the Republic” for several reasons, Barton asserted, just one of which is that children may no longer be taught cursive handwriting. Since almost all of America’s founding documents are written in cursive, he said, that means they will be dependent on their teachers and textbooks to tell them what exactly was said. Glenn Beck Tells the Fascinating History of World War II Like You've Never Heard it Before - The Blaze - Glenn Beck told the history of former President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and World War II like you may never have heard it before during his Monday television show on TheBlaze TV. He narrated the events in story form, as images from the times periodically appeared on the screen and moving music played in the background. Beck began with FDR’s election in 1933, explaining how FDR campaigned on ushering in “a new era of prosperity for America,” ending poverty and re-starting the engine of America. “The United States was taken off-guard when [war broke out],” Beck said. “Unemployment was still – years after FDR’s election – at 25%. Production was down by a third. One half of the nation’s wealth was wiped out, gone.” FDR had lashed out at companies providing gunpowder to the troops and others, calling them “merchants of death” and blaming them for the war, Beck said. Our military had shrunk to the 18th largest in the world, “just ahead of Holland.” Read more.......
