Romney Gives Fiery Speech to Massive Crowd in Pennsylvania: We're Going to Keep America the Hope of the Earth - The Blaze - Mitt Romney is campaigning in Pennsylvania in the final days before the 2012 election, holding such a packed rally Sunday night that one Twitter user labeled it a “Republican Woodstock.” There are only estimates of the crowd size, but some reports put the number as high as 30,000. Here are some photos from the event– Romney wasn’t scheduled to speak until the evening, but thousands turned out hours early despite the freezing temperatures:The Republican nominee began with an enthusiastic thanks for the crowd before asking that they keep the victims of Hurricane Sandy– some of which were likely present– in their thoughts and prayers. After New Jersey Governor Chris Christie came out in support of President Obama’s relief efforts last week, many said Christie was undermining Mitt Romney. But the Republican nominee had no hard feelings, it seemed, and went out of his way to thank the New Jersey governor. “I think about the governor of New Jersey, Governor Christie, he’s giving all of his heart and his passion to help the people of his state. They’re in a hard way and we appreciate his hard work. Thank you, governor…” Romney remarked. Read more........

UPDATE: Houston Poll Watcher Says NAACP 'Ringleader' was Accused of Touching Voting Machine -The Blaze - The poll watcher who said individuals in NAACP T-shirts took over a Houston polling site told TheBlaze Sunday that the “ringleader” of the group was also accused of touching an electronic voting machine that a voter was using. Eve Rockford said the woman in the NAACP attire first screamed at the poll supervisor and demanded that a clerk be removed during the Friday incident. “She starts screaming at [poll supervisor Rose Cochran] and she says ‘get this clerk out of here, get him out of here I’ve had enough of him,” Rockford, 51, told TheBlaze. “He starts calmly, using his voice, ‘she’s touching the machines, she’s touching the machines, she’s not acting appropriately, she’s touching the machines.’” Rockford said Cochran did nothing about the outburst and that another poll watcher came up and asked the woman for her name. The woman demanded to know the poll watcher’s name instead and after a few moments left the voting machine area and went and sat down. Rockford said the woman had been escorting voters up to the machines to vote, but said she didn’t actually see herself whether the woman had touched a machine.  Read more......
