Obama in His Own Words - Hot Air - 350,181 views - WordsMatter2012 was launched this past March to offer non-partisan and objective insight into whether President Obama delivered on the many promises he made when running for office. The project was in fact inspired by a speech he gave in 2008 in which he said that "words matter." Through short weekly videos highlighting his promises, we merely ask, "Did his words matter? And do they matter today?" We are currently in the process of building a network to spread this message and share these videos as the election approaches. Let us know if you are interested in partnering with us. Through his own words, a short un-narrated documentary that looks at Obama's first term with regards to transparency, healthcare, taxes, fairness, energy and the national debt - guaranteed to contain information of interest.

Under Obamacare, Medicare Double Taxation Begins in 2013 - CNS News - A provision of President Obama’s health care law imposes a second Medicare tax on investment income for Americans classified as wealthy, effectively raising taxes on investment income and taxing investors twice. The provision, a little-known part of ObamaCare, levies a 3.8 percent Medicare tax on investment income for couples making more than $250,000 or individuals making more than $200,000 a year. The tax is scheduled to go into effect on January 1, 2013. Read more.......

Surprise! HHS Piot Program to Send 2 Million Poor Seniors from Medicare into "Voucher Programs - Hot Air -  (4,132) Obama stating he will NEVER send seniors into a voucher program -  "And I will — I will never turn Medicare into a voucher. No American should ever have to spend their golden years at the mercy of insurance companies. They should retire with the care and the dignity they have earned. Yes, we will reform and strengthen Medicare for the long haul, but we’ll do it by reducing the cost of health care, not by asking seniors to pay thousands of dollars more. And we will keep the promise of Social Security by taking the responsible steps to strengthen it, not by turning it over to Wall Street."   Read more........

Saving Seniors from Obamacare - Town Hall - Two things about the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare) are increasingly clear: (1) seniors have been singled out and forced to bear a disproportionate share of the cost of a new entitlement for young people and (2) the states are administratively just not ready to implement the new program in time for its January 1, 2014, start date. So here's a simple proposal that will not affect the federal deficit: Delay the scheduled cuts in Medicare spending by five years and pay for that expense by delaying the 2014 start date of ObamaCare by two years. That would give everyone time to find a better way to reform the health care system. It would also impact this fall's election. Every member of Congress would be asked to vote up or down on a single question: Who do you care more about: senior citizens or ObamaCare?  Read more..........

Propaganda Update: TV Networks will be asked to Boost Obamacare in plots of their Top Shows - Newsbusters - Hollywood, an industry whose major players have been supportive of President Obama and his agenda, will be tapped. Plans are being discussed to pitch a reality television show about “the trials and tribulations of families living without medical coverage,” according to the Ogilvy plan. The exchange will also seek to have prime-time television shows, like “Modern Family,” “Grey’s Anatomy” and Univision telenovelas, weave the health care law into their plots. Goodnough added "The exchange itself has so far been financed by three grants, worth $237 million, from the federal government. Most of the money is committed to consultants, including Accenture, which has a $327 million contract to build and support the initial operation of the enrollment portal."  Read more........
