Barack Obama - Delphi Pension Scandal - #4120 - VIDEO: Testimony of Delphi Salaried Retirees Who had their Pensions Terminated (2) Emails: Geithner, Treasury Drove Cut Off of Non-Union Delphi Workers Pensions - Daily Caller (3) Bi-Partisan Group of Legislators Demands Strong Probe into Delphi Pension Scandal - Daily Caller

Video of testimony of salaried employees who had their Delphi Pensions terminated.  News broke yesterday revealing how the Obama Administration broke the law once again -- this time illegally excluding an independent agency from meetings about terminating the pensions of auto parts supplier Delphi's salaried retirees while allowing union workers at the very same company to keep the entirety of their pensions! Last week I visited 6 Delphi salaried retirees in Dayton, OH who had their pensions terminated and created this new video with them telling their story and how Obama hurt them. Click here to watch and share with friends!  “I would ask President Obama why I had no rights and he had all the rights to take my pension away and never ever look back, and, say ‘not only did I take it from Mary Miller but I took it from 20,000 other people and their families,’” Miller said in a video produced by Let Freedom Ring USA, a conservative non-profit. The video came in response to emails published in The Daily Caller that show representatives of the non-unionized employees Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. emailing each other about the fact that the Treasury Department “disinvited” from a meeting about the pensions. “And after this they unfairly decided to make the Delphi union workers whole by ‘topping up’ their pensions while they subjected the salaried retirees at the very same company to pension losses of up to 70 percent,” as Let Freedom Ring USA president Colin Hanna recalled.  Let Freedom Ring web site:

Emails: Geithner, Treasury Drove Cut Off of Non-Union Delphi Workers Pensions - Daily Caller Emails obtained by The Daily Caller show that the U.S. Treasury Department, led by Timothy Geithner, was the driving force behind terminating the pensions of 20,000 salaried retirees at the Delphi auto parts manufacturing company. The move, made in 2009 while the Obama administration implemented its auto bailout plan, appears to have been made solely because those retirees were not members of labor unions. The internal government emails contradict sworn testimony, in federal court and before Congress, given by several Obama administration figures. They also indicate that the administration misled lawmakers and the courts about the sequence of events surrounding the termination of those non-union pensions, and that administration figures violated federal law.  Read more........

Darrell Issa and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Sen. Joe Lieberman asking that they expand current probes into a Department of Treasury scandal that left 20,000 non-union Delphi retirees without their pensions after the 2009 General Motors bailout. The members — Sens. Rob Portman of Ohio, Thad Cochran of Mississippi and Roger Wicker of Mississippi, and Reps. Pat Tiberi of Ohio, Steve Stivers of Ohio, Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania, Dan Burton of Indiana, Bill Johnson of Ohio, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Marcy Kaptur of Ohio and Gregg Harper of Mississippi — are led by Ohio Republican Rep.
