Obama's BIG Small-Minded Class Warfare Speech in Kansas Doesn't Disappoint - Hot Air - Today in Osawatomie, Kan., Barack Obama laid bare his progressive agenda, calling for more federal involvement in education, increased spending on infrastructure, an extension of the payroll tax cut and increased taxes on the rich. He even invoked Teddy “the Trustbuster” Roosevelt, who, if you’ll recall, became increasingly socialistic as the sun of his national stardom began to set. Not surprisingly, Obama was disingenuous in a few places — but just a few. At one point, he said he had already signed $1 trillion in spending cuts into law. Presumably, he was referring to the cuts included in the debt ceiling deal. As a reminder, those were cuts to future spending — and legislators will soon frantically work to ensure they don’t materialize. Read more........

There's More Than One GOP Candidate Who Can Beat Obama - Rush - RUSH: We have been told throughout this process by the media, by the conservative media, by anybody that is considered to be part of the establishment, that Perry, Bachmann, Cain, Newt, Mitt, Santorum, can't win. We have been told over and over and over again, if Perry, Bachmann, Cain, Newt, Mitt, Santorum get the nomination, then Obama automatically wins. We have been hearing and reading this for months. Members of both party establishments say it, that the only Republican who has a prayer of beating Obama is Romney. My friends, I am here to tell you I simply don't subscribe. It has become conventional wisdom. And you know me and conventional wisdom. When conventional wisdom forms, I go the other way. Conventional wisdom is groupthink. In other words, the Democrats, the Drive-Bys, Republican "insiders" will not admit that anybody can beat Obama. Read more........ AW: Great article from his show today......

On Private Call, Republicans Say Attacking Obama Personally is too Dangerous - Yahoo -  Republicans on a private Republican National Committee conference call with allies warned Tuesday that party surrogates should refrain from personal attacks against President Barack Obama, because such a strategy is too hazardous for the GOP.  "We're hesitant to jump on board with heavy attacks" personally against President Obama, Nicholas Thompson, the vice president of polling firm the Tarrance Group, said on the call. "There's a lot of people who feel sorry for him."  Recent polling data indicates that while the president suffers from significantly low job approval ratings, voters still give "high approval" to Obama personally, Thompson said.  Read more.......  AW:  This is the kind of strategy that will enable Obama to stay in power, they can try to destroy fellow Republicans, but please be careful what you say about Obama, read the next three articles.

Obama FDA Considers Putting the Morning-After Pill on Supermarket Shelves - The Weekly Standard - The Washington Post reports that, under President Obama and his Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, the Food and Drug Administration is considering letting “anyone of any age buy the controversial morning-after pill Plan B directly off drugstore and supermarket shelves without a prescription.” The Post writes, “The Food and Drug Administration has until Wednesday to respond to a request from the drug’s manufacturer to make the pill as easy to get as toilet paper and toothpaste....“Opponents, however, say such a decision would expose girls and women to potential risks from taking high doses of a potent hormone, interfere with parents’ ability to monitor their children and make it easier for men to prey on vulnerable minors….  Read more........

US to Use Foreign Aid to Promote Gay Rights - Associated Press - The Obama administration is announcing a wide-ranging effort to use U.S. foreign aid to promote rights for gays and lesbians abroad, including combating attempts by foreign governments to criminalize homosexuality.  In a memorandum issued Tuesday, President Barack Obama directed U.S. agencies working abroad, including the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development, to use foreign aid to assist gays and lesbians who are facing human rights violations. And he ordered U.S. agencies to protect vulnerable gay and lesbian refugees and asylum seekers.  Read more.......

Obama Regime Covered Up Chevy Volt Dangers - Rush -  Obama's making it clear: They're running against America. They're running against American traditions, institutions, trying to defile them as corrupt, and Newt gives 'em a problem 'cause they can't tie Newt to Wall Street. Well, you know, the Chevy Volt has got all kinds of problems. First, nobody wants to buy any. The regime, GM owned by the regime, what did they project, 10,000 sales and they've sold about 1100 of 'em, something like that. I forget the number, and they're all bought with other people's money, every purchase is subsidized. Now they've got battery problems. The cars are supposedly catching fire because the batteries.....Apparently, way back in June, General Motors heard about a Volt fire that happened three weeks after said vehicle was crash tested, yet it wasn't until November that the company, or NHTSA disclosed there was a potential problem." So they knew in June; they didn't tell anybody until November. All that while they're selling the car, or trying to. They were "urging both dealers and customers to drain the battery pack immediately following an accident. Read more......
