Herman Cain: Morgan Freeman's Sad Ignorance Doesn't Offend Me - Neil Cavuto, Fox, News Busters - In the aftermath of his big Florida straw poll victory, Herman Cain appeared on Fox with Neil Cavuto, who asked Cain to respond to actor Morgan Freeman’s contention that the Tea Party was based on racism. Cain, who is a favorite at Tea Party events and who owed his remarkable victory yesterday to Tea Party activism, told Cavuto that being a great actor doesn’t always equate to having a grasp on reality. Cain declined to take offense, as Newsbusters reports, and instead focused on the desperation from the old-guard hard Left who just assumed that the race card was a winning trump that was exclusively theirs: Read more.......

Morgan Freeman: Obama Made Racism Worse, Tea Party Will Do 'Whatever [It] Can To Get This Black Man Outta Here' - News Busters -  PIERS MORGAN, HOST: Has Obama helped the process of eradicating racism, or has it in a strange way made it worse. MORGAN FREEMAN: Made it worse. Made it worse. Look at, look, the Tea Partiers, who are controlling the Republican Party, stated, and what’s this guy’s name, Mitch O’Connell. Is that his, O’Connell? MORGAN: Yeah, Mitch McConnell, yeah.  FREEMAN: Mitch McConnell. Their stated policy, publicly stated, is to do whatever it takes to see to it that Obama only serves one term. What’s, what does that, what underlines that? “Screw the country. We’re going to whatever we do to get this black man, we can, we’re going to do whatever we can to get this black man outta here.” MORGAN: But is that necessarily a racist thing? FREEMAN: It is a racist thing. MORGAN: Is it not Republicans, wouldn’t that say that about any Democrat president?  FREEMAN: No, they would have gotten rid of Bill Clinton if they could have. MORGAN: They tried.  Read more........ Steve Peters Commentary:  Morgan Freeman's statement is right, but not for the reason he thinks. Conservative do desperately want to remove Obama from office, because of his policies, not the color of his skin. It is liberals like Freeman and the and Democrats who count skin color, yelling racism against those who disagree with them, not the conservatives. Conservatives live up to Martian Luther King's famous quote, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” It is Freeman and liberals like Representative John Lewis who lost their way. " King looked forward to a day when the first question asked wouldn’t be “What color are you?” but rather “What qualifications do you have?” Lewis lied about Tea Party Members spitting on their group. When asked to prove his statements, he refuses, and even to this day repeats the story in an attempt to destroy those in the Tea Party Movement who do not agree with his politics. In fact, one news organization offered $100,000 for any proof that the incident took one came forward to claim a penny, even though there were hundreds of camera's and microphones recording the event. Until Lewis and others attempting to incite racial divisions are held up equally for their actions, as those who do not agree with them, Martin Luther's Dream cannot be fulfilled. Electing Obama president didn't fulfill a King’s 1963 speech because it never fulfill King’s dream of a colorblind America. If anything, it has worsened the cause of a colorblind society, every time Obama or one of his cronies uses race as a shield to protect him from the criticism of the others who do not agree with his failed left-wing policies. When a Supreme Court Justice like Clarance Thomas, or conservatives like Thomas Sowell and Walter Williams can run for President based on their ideas, not the color of their skin, then MLK's dream will be fulfilled.
