Albemarle County Board of Supervisor's Meeting - Welborn Freedom Watch.  At the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors meeting on Wednesday, May 11, fourteen citizens spoke in favor of private property rights and liberty by opposing county participation in ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives), the Cool Counties program, and Sustainable Development (known locally as the Livable Communities Planning Project, a three-year joint planning project managed by the Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission involving the county, the City of Charlottesville, and the University of Virginia). AW: Please watch the above video and read the 2 attachments, to learn why this issue is so important to the Private Property Rights and individual liberties and freedoms to the residents of the City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle. Also check to see what your city, town or county is involved with in 'Sustainable Development' and or ICLEI/Agenda 21.  Link to TJDPC 1998 Sustainability Accords.........  Charlottesville Region Sustainability Implementation Plan......

ICLEI-Agenda 21 - by Commissioner Richard Rothschild, a county level elected board member, who  helped remove ICLEI from Carroll County, Maryland.  Please watch, another great tool in understanding the importance of private property rights under assault.
