Steve Peters Commentary - #2812 - Morning Jay: Obama is Just Bad at Politics - The Weekly Standard (2) VIDEO: Obama: Constitution Reflects Fundamental Flaw in this Country - The American Pundit (3) It's Date Night for Capitalists: 'Atlas Shrugged Opens Friday - Investors.com

Presidential résumés have run the gamut -- from commanding general of the United States Army (Ulysses S. Grant) all the way down to collector of the Port of New York (Chester A. Arthur). Unfortunately, since George McGovern ruined the presidential nominating system in 1971, there has been a new potential item for the presidential CV: navigating the byzantine process of primaries and caucuses better than any competitor. Not all eventual nominees have managed to do this (e.g. Gerald Ford was nearly outflanked in 1976, so was Ronald Reagan in 1980), and with only two presidents has this been a prime "qualification" for winning the nomination. The first was Jimmy Carter, whose insurgent campaign in 1976 exhibited an advanced understanding of the new, open process that now governs the selection of party candidates. The second was Barack Obama, whose campaign team grasped the seemingly inscrutable complexities of the new system better than anybody ever has. Breaking down the popular vote in the 2008 Democratic battle, it was a basically a tie; Obama defeated Hillary Clinton for the nomination because he out-organized her, especially in caucus states like Colorado, Idaho, and Minnesota.  Read more.........

Obama's Constitution Reflects Fundamental Flaw in this Country - The American Pundit - this video has received 605,435 views. Via Drudge, here we find Barack Obama saying that the U.S. Constitution “reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day”, October 27, 2008.
SP: Jay is an excellent political columnist with whom I agree with on most issues, but think he is incorrect on this one. The president is actually just great at politics, which he learned from his many red diaper mentors growing up, while in Chicago listening from the church pews to the infamous Reverend Wright's black liberation theology and collective salvation, plus his on the job training as a community organizer. What he is truly terrible at is governing, because his temperament and leadership style are better suited for being the President of China. I know he thinks so, because that is what he has told others. "Mr. Obama has told people that it would be so much easier to be the president of China. As one official put it, “No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.” His arrogant governance style of, "my way or the highway," is not conducive to a republican form of government with a constitution that guarantees it's citizens certain inalienable rights and freedoms. Above Obama bemoans, as he puts it "our imperfect..political document..the constitution."Jay talks about Obama's political tone deafness, but it's self imposed. The sad truth is Obama hears us, but just does not care what the American Voter thinks about his marxist policies, like ObamaCare. He said he would sacrifice a second term if it meant pushing through his left wing agenda. He would not mind a second term, so stand by as he does what he wants, but tells you what you want to hear through the megaphone of the liberal lap dog media. Obama said,"I'd rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president." One out of two would be just fine with me and hopefully a majority of those who go to the polls on November 6, 2012.
