SHOCKING VIDEO: High school students admit teachers bringing them to protests - But don't know why they're there - The Blaze - As Wisconsin unions rally to protest Gov. Scott Walker‘s emergency budget proposal that would get rid of most of the state workers’ collective bargaining rights, video posted on YouTube appears to show teachers pulling high school students into the conflict. The video, taken by Wisconsin’s conservative MacIver Institute, shows students from Madison‘s East High School claiming their teachers brought them to protests at the State Capitol and also openly admitting that they really don’t know why they’re there: High school students in Wisconsin have staged walk-outs in support of their teachers over the last two days, much to the delight of liberal sites such as The Nation and the blog of the AFL-CIO. The Appleton Post Crescent reports on some of those walk-outs: Incensed by Gov. Scott Walker’s plan to end most collective bargaining rights from teachers and other public employees, about 200 Appleton East High School students filed out of class at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday chanting, “Save our teachers, save our school.” Read more........  To offer support for Gov. Wisconsin Union - Fighting Governor Portrayed as Egyptian Dictator - The Blaze -The Egypt connections, or comparisons, are growing in Wisconsin. As Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker fights the unions over a budget proposal that would essentially eliminate state workers’ collective bargaining ability, some, including the media, are taking the opportunity to compare him to former Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak. That comes as Glenn Beck pointed out yesterday how some progressives are trying use Egyptian unrest as a rallying cry in America. Fox News Anchor Hammers Wisconsin Labor Activist for Teachers - "Sick-Out" Protest - The Blaze -  After thousands of Wisconsin teachers called in sick Wednesday and took students to protest against spending cuts at the state capitol, a fired-up Stuart Varney didn’t hesitate to criticize Robert Craig, executive director for Citizen Action of Wisconsin, a group supporting labor unions’ objections to Republican Gov. Scott Walker’s budget plan. As Jonathon reported, proposed restrictions on unions’ collective bargaining rights have many public workers up in arms in Madison. But how responsible is it for teachers to use taxpayer-paid sick time to demand they be paid more? It’s “a very bad example to send to young children,” Varney warned.   Read more........
