Virginia 5th District Race - 2191 -Video: New TV Ad: Robert Hurt - "Differently" - Robert Hurt Campaign

 -
The Robert Hurt for U.S. Congress campaign today launched its newest television ad titled, "Differently." The ad is running in major media markets across the 5th District - Text of ad:  Tom Perriello’s negative attacks. Paid actors. Misleading. Robert Hurt: Instead of talking about the issues, Congressman Perriello and his liberal allies are launching negative attacks. That’s what they do in Washington, but we do things differently around here. Perriello says Robert wants to send jobs overseas. That’s just false. But Perriello did vote to give tax breaks to foreign companies creating jobs in China. That’s a fact his actors left out. Robert Hurt: I’m Robert Hurt and I approved this message.

Virginia 5th District Congressional GOP Candidate Robert Hurt Stumps in 6th District - Washington Examiner - Earlier this week with the Appalachian Mountains as a backdrop, Virginia's Fifth District Congressional candidate Robert Hurt addressed a gathering of supporters in the Sixth District's central Shenandoah Valley. He was there at the invitation of the Sixth District's own Congressman Bob Goodlatte who, facing two independent opponents but no Democrat, is expected to be a sure win in November.  Hurt, a Virginia State Senator, is facing one-term Democratic incumbent Tom Perriello who has stayed true to the Democrat playbook during his 18 months in office. Voting for ObamaCare, the stimulus bill, and cap-and-trade, those issues have lined Perriello up with Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi and have not set well with voters in his mostly rural District. Stretching from Charlottesville, home of many affluent citizens and the University of Virginia, south to Martinsville where unemployment is running at 20%, the District is ripe for change.  Read more........  Article contributed by Steve Peters.

Sarah Palin Launches Take Back the 20 - Hot Air -  Fresh off of her success in the primaries, where about two-thirds of her candidates won Republican nominations, Sarah Palin continues her midterm campaign with a new website and a renewed focus. Yesterday, she took the occasion of the six-month mark of ObamaCare to relaunch Take Back the 20, her campaign to win 20 Congressional districts where Democrats voted for ObamaCare while the district supported her and John McCain in the last election: TakeBackthe20.com provides information about the candidates in these 20 districts who are committed to repealing and replacing Obamacare. It has links to their personal websites and their donation pages. It allows you to read up on them, and then support them in their race to defeat those who gave us this terrible bill. Read more........ Politicans targeted by Sara Palin's new web site include Virginia Representative Tom Perriello! A majority of us in the 5th District think Tom has worked very hard with his liberal votes in D.C. to earn this "recognition". Glad you made the list TOM! Article contributed by Steve Peters.

Take Back the 20 - Sarah Palin -   It’s been six months since President Obama signed his health care bill into law. Despite overwhelming public dislike of Obamacare, we were told that Washington knows best and there was nothing to worry about. Nancy Pelosi said Congress had to pass the bill so that Americans could “find out what is in it.” We found out that it’s even worse than we feared. Join me in standing against those who stood with Obama and Pelosi in voting for this disastrous bill. The Democrats from 20 districts we carried in 2008 voted for Obamacare. Now we can vote against them.
