Fall Elections 2010 - #1952 -Video: Over 1,000 Union Nurses Protest in Front of Meg Whitman, GOP Candidate for CA Governor- Breitbart

In what seems to be a disturbing new trend employed by organized labor groups, the neighborhood of California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman was invaded by over 1,000 chanting nurses protesting her candidacy.    I had always believed nurses were the ultimate care givers, compassionate, putting others needs ahead of their own.  If there was ever one group of people, even though were union members, that I believed who would not allow themselves to be used by the unions, or sold out by the unions, it would have been nurses.  What were they thinking, or were they?

  1. As a registered nurse, I am disgusted that nurses put their patients in jeopardy by participating in unions. In June, 12000 nurses picketed 14 hospitals. Inexcusible. They are trying to expand the union to VA (a right to work state) and I have received many mailings from CNA. NNU (National Nurses United) intends to "organize nurses whenever SEIU is organizing the rest of hospital workers."

  2. Thanks for your comments, I was hoping I would hear from Nurses who were upset this was happening.
